Grasonville is a census-designated place in Queen Anne's County, Maryland, United States. The population was 2,193 at the 2000 census.Grasonville is located at 38°57′46″N 76°12′12″W / 38.96278°N 76.20333°W / 38.96278; -76.20333.According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 5.2 square miles, of which 4.7 square miles is land and 0.6 square miles is water.As of the census of 2000, there were 2,193 people, 845 households, and 588 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 470.0 people per square mile. There were 948 housing units at an average density of 203.2/sq mi. The racial makeup of the CDP was 69.49% White, 28.77% African American, 0.23% Native American, 0.09% Asian, 0.78% from other races, and 0.64% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.78% of the population.There were 845 households out of which 30.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.6% were married couples living together, 15.
